How to protect your money with Purse dipping bells.

Stop thief!

Why we all need purse dipping bells. I lost my purse the other day, at least I hope I lost it. I hate to think that someone stole it from my bag but realistically I guess that is just what happened. It's a horrible feeling to think that someone has targeted you, rummaged around your things and taken your property. It’s a violation. It takes time cancelling your cards and ordering new ones, it costs money, it is a major inconvenience.

For me it was also pretty embarrassing too, as I only realised that my purse was missing at the supermarket checkout when I tried to pay for my weekly shop. I wouldn't wish the feeling of blind panic that came over me as I looked in vain for my money on anyone.

Purse dipping bells.

But there is a simple solution, these discrete, attractive gold coloured purse dipping bells are a great little invention. They easily attach to your purse or wallet and ring loudly when they are moved. They are clearly audible even in a crowd and yet make next to no sound when your purse is sitting safely in your bag.

Protect your purse and mobile phone.

When I found out about purse dipping bells I bought a dozen of them from ebay! I’ve used them to protect my own purse and I’ve even attached one to my mobile phone. The rest I gave out to family and friends. My husband was a little concerned at first that putting one on his wallet would make it hard for him to fit it in his pocket but these bells are small enough that it really wasn't a problem for him at all.

Sometimes it’s the simple things that work best and whoever the inventor of these little things is deserves a medal as far as I’m concerned.

Times are tough and money is scarce and I intended to hang on to mine and put a stop to anyone thinking about stealing my purse in the future. So look out pickpockets I'm out to thwart you - with bells on!

Protect your money in crowds.

Don't forget when out shopping in a crowd to always tuck your purse well down into your handbag. When you do come to pay for something at the till don't don't make it too obvious that you have much cash on you, keep smaller amounts of money in different compartments of your purse or wallet. Don't make things easy for thieves.

Thanks R Talloni and yes they would make great, cheap little stocking fillers. Anything that helps to keep our hard earned cash safe is a fantastic invention as far as I'm concerned.

I HAD MY PURSE STOLEN LAST WEEK AND I AGREE WITH THE COMMENTS ABOVE, THE BLIND PANIC WHEN YOU REALISE IT HAS ACTUALLY GONE,I AM STILL DEVASTED BAD ENOUGH TO LOSE MONEY, BUT SOME THINGS LIKE OLD PHOTOGRAPHS CANNOT BE REPLACED,MY UPSET HAS NOW TURNED INTO ANGER, POLICE SHOULD REALLY CRACK DOWN ON INSTEAD THEY DO NOTHING JUST ANOTHER PETTY CRIME BOX TO BE TICKED.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that Rose. I know that it's too late now but next time put a bell or several bells on your purse, they really do work. You don't have to spend much, you can use the little bells that they put on cat collars or anything that makes a noise. Another good thing to do is to attach your small money purse to your handbag with some ribbon, use black and the thief won't be able to see it until it's too late and he/she gets caught. Once again I am so sorry that this happened to you it really does make you feel awful.
